June 5, 2007: A Message from Justin "The dust has settled, Europe has begun to rebuild, and all of Solace is finally at home after almost a month of utter destruction. First off Orange Goblin and Doomraiser need to be thanked and praised for their kindness, generosity, and utter awesomeness. We had an amazing time on this tour and made many, many new friends along the way. Can't fucking wait to do it all again ... I kind of threw together a tour blog from what drunken recollections I could conjour, and there are plenty of new pics to check out, too. Also some new live reviews. Thanks to all who contributed, and thanks to all who came out and supported the Solace beast! - Justin" |

May 19, 2007: Bring Out Your Dead + The Black Black Tour The boys have been drinking themselves into comas all week with Orange Goblin in the UK and are flying from Scotland to Belgium tomorrow to begin the second half of their European onslaught with Italy's Doomraiser. All tourdates are listed on the Tour page. I have been in touch with the boys during their trip and I must admit to being somewhat jealous of the bastards! In addition to rocking the shit out of the UK, they saw Stonehenge this week! |

November 21 , 2006: Atlantic City to be Demolished On Friday December 8th, Solace will be tearing down the Atlantic City area! The Pearl in Somers Point will be the epicenter of this devastation, with the descruction beginning at 9PM. Local heavy-hitters Sledgefist will be opening, with DJ G-Force spinning Rock between bands. Solace will be doing a couple local radio shows leading up to the event: 91.7 WLFR on 11/25 @ 6 PM and the Local Commotion show with 102.7 WJSE's Beej on 12/3 at 8PM. Both stations broadcast over the web, so even if you're not local you can still tune in and support the boys! Keep in mind that The Pearl is not just a great venue, but also a kickass Chinese restaurant! So bring your appetite for Rock, but leave some room for the General Chicken. Oh ... and there is NO COVER CHARGE FOR THIS EVENT!

May 12, 2006: Remembering Boppo Eddie "Boppo" Ramos, former member of Social Decay and good friend of Solace, passed away suddenly last week. His untimely death brought the boys together (yes ... all 5 of them, on stage, together, in their home-state) for the first time in over a year. They played a show in rememberance of Eddie at The Brighton Bar tonight, along with 1000 Knives of Fire. Unfortunately, Greatdayforup had to cancel due to issues beyond their control. Despite the sad occasion, the boys pulled it off in true Solace style and rocked the shit out of all present. A benefit concert for Eddie's family is in the works. There's talk of a Social Decay reunion, but no details are available as of yet - and no idea if Solace will be playing or not. We'll keep you posted. |

May 10, 2006: Amsterdamned & Label News Well, for those of you who don't know, Solace recently returned from their trip to The Netherlands for the 2006 Roadburn Festival. This was the band's first show in Europe, and a great time was had by all. Dutch radio station VPRO is hosting their set HERE, and we'll have video and pics soon. After their return, good news was received in the form of Listenable Records agreeing to help the boys finish their latest album: A.D. The long-awaited follow up to 13 is that much closer to reality. |

May, 2006: New Solace Website! Since the demise of solacedoom.com last year, the band has been without a proper presence on the web. As an HTML-savvy unemployed loser, I could not - in good conscience - allow that to continue. Which means the Solace boys have me as their new liaison to the web, whether they like it or not. Long live diedrunk.com! |
